CONTINUING its purchases of haulage and storage concerns, the Transport Development Group on Monday acquired the issued share capital of Midlands Storage (West Hallam) Ltd. and its associated companies; Midlands Storage (Transport Services) Ltd., Alsirat Ltd., H. Tattersall (Contractors) Ltd., J. Chambers Ltd., William H. Short (Contractors) Ltd. and Bernard Swain (Transport) Ltd.

The companies, which operate about 80 vehicles, provide extensive transport and storage services for industry and at West Hallam, Derbyshire, have over 1,000,000 sq. ft. of covered warehouse accommodation.
