Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ADISPUTE with a railway company concerning the advertising of road-transport facilities has led to Mr. Samuel Ledgard, of Leeds, vacating a garage and coach booking office which he has carried on for many years in Lower Briggate, Leeds.

In advertising his large coach and haulage business, Mr. Ledgard, a few years ago, placed on the front of the premises a sign about 30 ft. long and 12 it. high. The L.N.E. Railway Co.. the owner of the premises, demanded that this advertisement should be removed. Mr. Ledgard, as the tenant, declined.to do so, and he was -informed

that unless lie took down the sign his lease would not be renewed.

Mr. Ledgard still refused to forgo the right to advertise road transport on premises occupied by a road-transport concern, with the result that, last month, his tenancy terminated.

About 1906, the first mechanically propelled Royal Mail van in Yorkshire was operated from the premises, and from there ran, about 1909, the first coach ever operated in Leeds.

TWO STATION SCHEMES.

T"QUAY Corporation is considering a scheme, to cost £40,000, for the provision of a bus station in the Strand, as well as a smaller plan estimated to cost only £10,000.
