Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Setting prices for hire vehicles can be a real chore, but a high-tech package is now available that's claimed to do the work for you.

CAP has teamed up with software specialist Keeresources to produce a residual price benchmarking system for the contract hire, rental and leasing sector.

The Kwikview at-a-glance package is designed to help companies set accurate prices for vans and trucks hired, leased or rented to an operator by taking into account issues ranging from rate setting and age to depreciation and risk management.

Keeresources MD Dennis Keenan says the system is designed to stop any problems emerging by actively collecting relative information expressed in different ways from a range of different computer systems and software. "CAP data is the best available. and Kwikview gives full access without the headaches that can arise through integrating it with other data from other sources within your own software systems," he explains.

Keenan claims that Kwikview's advantage is the ability to view multiple data sets on one platform, which has not been available before. -Using a single application to cover all pricing issues from rate setting, to risk management is an innovative approach," he adds. "It offers major time savings, and ultimately makes what can be a costly and unwieldy benchmarking process straightforward."

The system is extended to manufacturers to help them target future price issues as well as see the performance of their competitors. • • Contact: Keeresources on 0870 740 7767 or visit the company's website at www.keeresources.com
