The heavy van sector (2.6-3.5 tonnes GVW) continues to drive overall CV registrations. Despite, a 0.7% year-on-year decline in August, growth stands at 11.5% for the year to date. Registrations of medium vans (1.8-3.5 tonnes GVW) fell 0.7% during August, while light van registrations (up to 1.8 tonnes GVW) fell by 17.5%. Registrations of pickups fell 17.5% in August, and they're down 3.6% for the year to date.
