Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Hawk was tickled to hear this ornithological tale. In an effort to make themselves more environmentally friendly, Wincanton Logistics in Brockworth, Glos changed the reversing alarm on its fork-lift trucks to the sound of birdsong. This was in an effort to appease neighbours next to its warehouse, who had complained about the all-night beeping. John Greenhaig of Wincanton says: "It's natural and less intrusive, we hope it improves things."

Sadly, as the Hawk knows only too well, there's no pleasing some people, and one local resident was distinctly unimpressed: "The new noise Is ridiculous. If anything it irritates me even more!"
