Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Brigade Electronics has an upgraded version of the Clarion Backeye vehicle CCTV system, offering many benefits to the operator.

Claimed to be the ultimate "third-eye" rear view system for safer manoeuvring and enhanced all-round visibility, Backeye eliminates blind spots during daylight and after-dark operations.

The system is said to offer superb picture clarity through the high resolution monitor, with the additional benefit that the compact, lightweight camera can readily be fitted to the back or side of most vehicles.

Particular to the upgrad ed model is the "iris function" which, when activated by the driver, improves visibility into heavily shadowed areas or when the vehicle is operating in low light levels.

There are also on-screen markers which assist the driver with measuring the distance from the rear of the vehicle to any obstruction shown by the camera. These are now electronically displayed on the monitor, and their position can be adjusted by the operator to suit his particular vehicle.

The whole system is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged and the camera provides wide angle visibility to the rear or side for between 15 and 25 metres. External connectors, and the camera itself, have been specified to withstand shocks of up to 10g, and all equipment is fully dust/waterproof to IP67. This means that steam cleaning and pressure washing is not a problem.
