Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A new folding trolley from Avon Communications and Electronics called the TM.50 is a one-man (or woman) operated unit. It is built to allow the safe and simple unloading, transport and loading of equipment up to 35016 in weight from a van or estate car.

The Avoncel TM.50 is of a basic four-wheeled trolley design with an extended frame at the front carrying two ancillary wheels just below table top height, positioned to locate on the floor of the transporting vehicle.

The loaded trolley is wheeled toward the vehicle and the extended frame wheels located on to the vehicle floor. The removal of a locking pin and opera' tion of a retraction lever attached to the front road wheel undercarriage, partially raises the assembly. The weight is now borne by the two extended frame wheels inside the vehicle and the two rear road wheels. The load can now be pushed easily into the vehicle on these four wheels.

The front road wheel assembly folds under the trolley load surface, creating a four-wheel platform bearing the weight of the load inside the car. At this stage the rear road wheels remain outside the vehicle.

The release of a second locking device allows the rear road wheel assembly to be safely lifted and stowed under the load, and the combined units can be repositioned as required. To unload the operation is reversed.

The basic construction is of welded 1in. square 14-gauge tubular steel framework with ;lin, laminate ply and a Formicacovered load surface. The model components are finished in a serviceable, passivated zinc plate. The road wheels are Sin. in diameter with special hardwearing tyres, the ancillary wheels are 7in. in diameter; the two rear road wheels are fitted with brakes. The construction is robust and is claimed to handle a load of 350lb without undue strain to framework or working mechanism.

The total weight of the trolley is approximately 60Ib and the overall dimensions with the fold-away handles extended are: length 54in„ height 29.5in., width 24in., loading surface 38in. by 24in.
