Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Vehicle registration numbers can now be etched permanently on windscreens as an anti-theft precaution by means of a new Carmark process. The firm is marketing a kit to do this.

The kit consists of 12 selfadhesive paper paper sheets each comprising an alphabet and set of iumerals, six paper frames in Nhich the letters and numbers are positioned, marking cream, 3 brush and other small items. To 3tch the registration number on 3lass, the glass is cleaned horoughly and one of the frames s positioned on it. Then the ippropriate letters and numerals ire positioned in the frame, proective sponge strip (supplied) )laced at the lower edge and )etroleum jelly coated all round he frame for added protection.

When this has been done marking cream is painted over the glass and left there for three minutes before being worked off with plenty of water. The registration mark is shown on th glass as the area around the letters and numbers is permanently etched.
