Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A new torque multiplier, the Highwayman, has been developed by Norbar Torque Tools specifically to facilitate the maintenance of heavy goods vehicles, The Highwayman gives a maximum torque of 1250 lb ft and an exact multiplication factor of 5 to 1 throughout its torque range. The high efficiency (94 per cent) attained is achieved by the use of needle roller bearings. Used in conjunction with a small torque spanner, the Highwayman can apply far higher than normal specific loads when tightening large-size bolts and nuts.

The tool is said to require no maintenance and is supplied in a steel carrying case together with one reaction bar, one spare 0.75in. drive square and one 1.3125in. across-flats hexagon socket.

Made by: Norbar Torque Tools Ltd, Swan Close, Banbury, Oxon.

Price: £30 16s. 8d.
