Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A COMPLETELY new unit within the Pax 1IA range produced by Dennis Bros. Ltd. is a lightweight 12-ft.-wheelbase passenger chassis. This chassis is designed for a body with a low front entrance and having a seating capacity of either 24 passengers with a 215-cu. ft. luggage locker at the rear, or alternatively a capacity of 32 passengers. Overall length of the new vehicle is 25 ft. 4 in. and laden height is 9 ft. The power unit is a Perkins 6305 diesel engine driving through the Dennis U0 gearbox to a rear axle with a ratio of 557: I. Gross weight of the bus is about 6 tons 10 cwt.

This new development will be welcomed by passenger operators as a change from the trend of two or three

years ago when Dennis Bros. were concentrating on the production of goods and special municipal vehicles to the exclusion of passenger models. Readers will recall that the production of the Dennis Loline was dropped for a while: not only is it now in full production again, but a demonstration vehicle is availa bk..
