• Renault has introduced a certificate for bodybuilders who specialise in light cv conversions.
The Accord Technique certificates are designed to let end users know that Renault believes a conversion "harmonises" with the base unit.
The move coincided with the new Trees UK debut held at the International Motor Show at Birmingham last month.
So far 11 certificates have been awarded, including two awards to TCR for an insulated box and a Luton build onto a Master chassis-cab.
Two more went to Lamberet for its insulated box on a Master chassis cab and platform-cab, and for its insulated Kangoo.
GRP received a certificate for its insulated Renault Master: Ingimex got one for its Master chassis-cab dropside.
The rest have gone to ambulance and minibus conversions.
