Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association (VBRA) and the Freight Transport Association (FTA) have met to explore the advantages of a closer working relationship which could lead to new benefits for their member companies.

The VBRA currently has about 300 commercial vehicle body builder and body repairer members.

Director of operations at the VBRA, Ron Nicholson comments: "With more legislative changes than ever affecting the commercial vehicle industry it is vital that strong links exist between those who build and repair commercial vehicles and those who operate them."

Bob Cross of the FTA adds: "It is too early to be precise about joint schemes but we are very encouraged by the talks and welcome the opportunity to examine working with the VBRA."
