ith the great British tradition of doorstep milk delivery dwindling fast, there will soon be many milk floats seeking alternative employment. It may be that one of the country's largest brewers could put them to good use.
Bass has started a three-month trial run of delivering canned beer to homes in London, Birmingham and Nottingham.
In what must be an under-statement the company says: "Customers seem to like it." I bet the off licences don't, however.
