FURTHER URTHER control or transport to direct certain mineral traffic back to the railWays was foreshadowed at the Public Works and Municipal Services Congress in London this week. Of five papers of interest to road users, three dealt with measures whicii could be adopted to improve road safety. The fourth concerned road and rail economics. The fifth pointed out the advantages, financially and
operationally, of collecting trade refuse at night. These papers are summari4ed below. .
