Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AVEHICLE of 71tons unladen weight has been added to the A licence of A. T. Marriott, Ltd., Sheffield, by the Yorkshire Licensing Authority. The company wished for additional tonnage for the carriage of atomicenergy plant to various parts of the country for R. Jenkins and Co., Ltd., Rotherham. ,

The Authority's decision was announced last week. At the original hearing (The Commercial Motor, September 28) the objectors—Leonard Green (Haulage). Ltd., Rotherham, J. E. Parker, Ltd., Sheffield, and the railways—suggested that as 94 per cent. of Marriott's traffic in 1956 was for Jenkins, a contract-A licence would suffice.
