Would you please help to scotch a rumour to the effect that projecting hinges, gudgeons, anti-Luce fasteners, cotters and chains, etc, will be illegal from next August, next January, or some other fanciful date, onwards.
There is no legislation or similar stating that the traditional method of fastening vehicle bodies will be illegal in the UK, nor is any envisaged at this time. Such can be confirmed by the SMMT and similar.
Your kind assistance in publicising this fact would be very much appreciated.
