ATRACTIVE unit incorporating Scammell automatic coupling gear has been introduced by Dodge Brothers (Britain), Ltd. The new model has an 8-ft. 4-in, wheelbase and is suitable for use at a gross train weight of 18 tons.

The standard specification includes a Perkins 6.354 engine, a five-speed gearbox, a two-speed rear axle and a vacuumassisted braking system. Power-assisted steering can be fitted as an option and it is said that air-hydraulic brakes will shortly be available.
