Title: Founder of Sheddick Transport Career history: originally trained as a teacher, Sheddick became involved in the transport industry when she and her husband Roger set up Sheddick Transport with one vehicle in the early 1970s. The company grew to operate 120 vehicles and employ more than 200 people, at which point it was sold to the Norbert Dentressangle Group. Sheddick continued with the ND Group for seven years. In 2009, the husband and wife team took over MAN dealership Commercial Motors (Wales), based in Newport. Sheddick also does consultancy work for the FTA and other transport organisations.
Accolades: ● A board member of the FTA.
● A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Transport.
● Awarded an OBE for services to Enterprise and Training in South Wales in 2000.
