Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ASTRAN CARGO Services says it sees a growing demand for its services between Europe and Iraq as the rebuilding of the country begins.

The Borough Green-based firm has now teamed up with Kuwaitbased freight company Kingly SAS to provide an overland and sea freight route to the region via Kuwait.

Astran Middle East development manager Kevin Letham says Iraq accounted for over 40% of its business prior to the first Gulf War: "We now think it is right to reenter the market in a significant way as there is huge demand for goods and services to sustain the re-building of Iraq.

"Kingly SAS has the resources and security protection needed to help us provide our direct overland trucking. The drivers are all specially trained and equipped with body armour and run in convoys of 10 to 15 at a time."

Astran was acquired by Maidstone-based John Seymour Transport in November last year (CM November 2004).
