Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

By John Darker

TWENTY-NINE Northern area operators applying for B licences to work for the Slater Group of companies and Limmer and Trinidad Asphalt Co. Ltd. are likely to meet warm opposition at a public inquiry on June 21, I understand. Most of the 35 vehicles concerned are now operated on Contract A licences which will be surrendered if the bids succeed.

Controversy normally attends such large-scale applications when no operating radius is specified, and it would be surprising if rates questions are not raised during the hearing.

I understand that the applicants will be represented by Mr. T. H. CampbellWardlaw.
