Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

enabled me to claim a Transport Manager's Licence as of right when they are._ introduced, I have since become unemployed because the company with which I was employed went into liquidation. Will I have to take the examination to obtain a licence if I am unable to obtain a suitable post before January 1, 1977?

A According to the present proposals which cover access to the profession of road haulier (under which the TML is to he introduced) the person concerned must be "in post" before January 1975 to obtain a TML without further examination. By implication, he will have to be still in that post when the licence is introduced.

In the circumstances, you would probably have to take the examination to obtain the licence. This is a fairly simple test however, and should present little difficulty to an experienced person. Success at this and the possession of a licence could enhance your job prospects if you have not been able to obtain a satisfactory position by then.
