A CALL for the Government to retain the new bus grant beyond the planned 1980 withdrawal date has come from the Association of District Councils in its observations on the Government Green Paper on transport policy.
The Association wants the grant situation to be explained "with extreme urgency."
The grant should be con tinued in order to help local authorities buying buses and ; the industry supplying them, it says.
