J. E. Cooke has been appointed chief engineer (design) for ERF Ltd. He was formerly engineering director at Atkinson Lorries for three years, and before then chief engineer for five years. Mr Cooke will be responsible to the engineering director, A. W. Turner, for all matters concerning the design of current and future ERF vehicles.
