IN VIEW of the new rules regarding sick pay, self certification and absenteeism, there will be a one-day seminar chaired by Labour MP Greville Janner at the Lords' Banqueting and Conference Centre in London on Friday, February 19.
All employers must now prepare their sick pay arrangements, including records, documentation and adjustment of the insured occupational sick pay schemes.
The new rules, according to Mr Janner, are likely to affect most negotiations for changes in employees' remuneration, arising out of both collective and individual bargaining.
