• Gloucestershire plant hire company DE Spencer & Sons is using one of Andover Trailer's latest Superlow lowloaders to haul trenchers, excavators and Texas-made wheeled saws.
To prevent damage from the 2250,000 25-tonne saws, Andover has fitted heavy steel plating in the centre of the floor.
The trailer, which couples to a new Scania 143 6x2 tractor with rear lifter axle, also has power-out toe ramps and hydraulic steady legs at the rear.
Spencers will use the outfit on contracts in the UK, Ireland and across the Continent to Portugal.
