Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WE WERE interested to read the article by Peter Stonham in your issue of February 2, 1985. You mention that Percivals and ourselves are now operating as contractors to National Express.

In point of fact we are joint operators with National Express and each provide a proportion of the 747 Service.

We have operated joint services with a number of operators over many years and we do not in fact operate vehicles in any other livery than our own; except where we have acquired businesses and one immediate non-utility post war Bedford — in August 1945.

In point of fact, the first joint service which we have operated with National Express is Service 905 BirminghamClacton/Lowestoft. We should be obliged if you will publish this letter, as we think the comments by Peter Stonham are not factual.
