Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A clamp which can be either lorry or fork-lift-truck mounted and handles the loading / unloading of pipes up to 7in. diameter is marketed by AIM Engineers. It has a mounting for a Hiabs or similar rotator and also features an adjustable height gauge in order to ensure safe load fixing.

Operated hydraulically, • the clamp lifts a maximum 6cwt; a fail-safe device actuates if the hydraulic circuit fails. For handling long lengths the fixed anvils are set at 36in. centres. Price: ex works £165.
