• Hilton Transport Services are expected to be requoted on the Stock Exchange within the next few weeks and have opened a new export packing division as part of their modernization programme in South East London. The new division will also be responsible for case-making and warehousing. There are 180,000 sq ft of covered warehousing accommodation and new heavy equipment has been installed for handling bulk loads of up to 80 tons.
The new division is to work in conjunction with the company's shipping and forwarding, TIR, insurance and customs clearance sections and will be integrated with similar facilities in the East Midlands at Nottingham and Derby.
