• The East London Group of companies (comprising East London Transport Ltd and Bentons Sand and Ballast Ltd) together with Cory Quarries Ltd and Cory Builders Merchants Ltd are now trading as Cory Sand and Ballast Co Ltd, part of Wm Cory's aggregates activity.
Sales inquiries will be dealt with by head office, currently at 130/138 Minories, London EC3 (tel: 01-481 1245). Quarry operations, plant and transport hire will continue to be administered from Arterial Road, Grays (tel: 0375 5664/5, 6070, 5323).
