Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

present hauli rs' problem, adequate maintenance, w s heralded by the announcement last Novi mber by Vauxhall Motors Ltd., encouraging its dealership to lay down testing faclities.

Bedford's scheme for pre-test inspections (COMMERCIAL MOTOR, November 3 1967I is progressing at a great pace; already 70 of the firm's distributors are investing in equipment required to set up testing bays similar in design to those used .

by the MoT.

I received from Vauxhall last week a publication called The Road Ahead. It has been circularized to all Bedford dealers and contains the company's views on the changing scene of the commercial vehicle repair business in the not too distant future.

Its contents include a brief run down on the relevant regulations, i.e., braking, plating and testing, and explanation ot the Ministry scheme. There follows an out

line of what will actually be included in the inspection and a page dealing with the changes dealers must make to meet these requirements.

The last two pages deal with equipment that must be installed and how personnel involved will have to be trained. All in all it sets out very simply an example for efficient servicing and inspection which should enable operators to keep their machines up to the standard required to pass a Ministry test at any time.
