A STRAIGHT-FRAME single-axle rA semi-trailer with a capacity of 14 tons has been introduced by J. Brockhouse and Co., Ltd., West Bromwich. Overall length of the trailer is 25 ft. and it is available to suit 7 ft. 2 in., 7 ft. 6 in. or 8 ft. wide bodies.

Pressed-steel 15-in, deep channelsection main members are used for the chassis frame which is of all-welded construction. The suspension is through semi-elliptic leaf springs with Aeon hollow tubber springs mounted on the frame above the springs. A single-line upright vacuum braking system with a Clayton Dewandre Hydrovac is standard. but an air-hydraulic system using the Clayton Dewandre Air-Pak system can be incorporated if required.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT IT is announced by Grafton Industrial I Securities, Ltd., that their subsidiary, Quicktho Engineering, Ltd., have entered into an arrangement with Percy Lane, Ltd., of Lichfield Road, Tamworth. Staffs, the manufacturers and patentees of the " Planet " range of glazed equipment and accessories for all forms of transport. Under the arrangement the transport division of Quicktho, its goodwill and its patents are transferred to Percy Lane, Ltd.
