Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PASSENGER receipts on the British Transport Commission's provincial and Scottish bus operations rose in 1961 by about £4m. Total Titling group receipts were £43,551,000 compared with £40,943,000 in 1960. On the Scottish Omnibuses group the 1961 receipts were £22,157,000 compared with £20,954,000 in 1960.

London Transport traffic receipts on road services amounted to £59,130,000 in 1961, as against £56,572,000 the previous year.

The average receipt per journey on Tilling buses rose from 6.80d. in 1960 to 7,34d. last year. On the Scottish buses the rise was from 6.59d. to 7.09d., and in London from 5.27d. to 5.64d.
