Stobart: You say it best, when you say trucking at all

LIFE REALLY IS A rollercoaster, This is the moment when former Boyzone singer Ronan Keating and his wife, Yvonne, met Andrew Tinkler and William Stobart from the Stobart Group.

The meeting of boy band pop idol and haulage industry top brass came at a charity fundraiser in London last weekend, which saw Stobart Group donate 2151,700 to Cancer Research UK and The Marie Keating Foundation as part of the annual Emeralds and Ivy Ball.

The firm's donation is a pound for every mile that its truck Phoebe Grace, driven by Mark Dixon and made famous in the recent

Channel Five documentary Eddie Stobart: Trucks and Trailers, travelled during 2010.

Stobart says: "The success of Phoebe Grace as a fundraiser has inspired us to do the same again with a new truck that replaces her in 2011 — livened in a special Cancer Research UK wrap and again appearing on the TV show to hopefully raise even more money next year."

The new truck has been named Debby by the winners of an auction held on the night The Stobart TV series will return for a Christmas special on 7 January, and a second series is due next Easter.
