Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WHILETHE reaction from the FTA to the Highways Agency's overtaking ban for trucks (CAI 9 December) is perhaps predictable. I would like to see it extended!

As an operator and also a fairly high mileage car driver I find it extremely frustrating to be caught in a sometimes mile or more tailback caused by one HGV overtaking another on a gradient.

It is common on Continental roads, including multi-lane motorways, to have gradient overtaking restrictions. In the absence of investment in crawler lanes,it is high time they were introduced more into the UK.
