ppp EGISTRATION of new vehicles, IX other than cars and motorcycles, in September, showed a steep rise as corn; pared with those for August, tha respective figures being 18.868 and 14,564. Hackneys were up from 241 to 365, "other goods" from 9.581 to 13,307 and exempt vehicles from 658 to 1,887. Other details arc given in the table below;—
