Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SPECIALIST in the production of Licamouflage paint, Solignum, Ltd., 205, Borough High Street, London, S.E.1, is well equipped to afford assistance to operators, manufacturers, etc., who are faced with the problem of camouflaging their premises. It markets a wide range of Sol protective finishes for the camouflaging of surfaces of all types of material commonly used—even the grass surrounding the buildings.

A booklet is issued by the company, which gives full particulars of the various preparations and their applications, together with a table of their covering properties in sq. yds. per gallon or cwt. They are available in the various suitable camouflage colours and are fully approved by the responsible Authorities.

One of the most popular and reliable finishes, suitable for practically all the usual surfaces and supplied ready mixed for use, is Sal A.R.P. rough emulsion. It dries with a rough texture which retains its camouflage effect when wet.

Particularly valuable for flat roof surfaces are the Sol rough dust finishes. The procedure in employing these is first to apply the flat black bitumen solution, and while this is still wet to blow, dust or brush on a coloured rough dust, subsequently binding it with water spray. It is claimed to be the most effective but is less easily applied than some of the other finishes.

There are also gritty and non-gritty oil-bound distempers, white kerb paint, luminous paint, for posts or other obstructions, entrances, etc., and fireproofing solution. A chart is available of the colours in which the paints are produced, and the correct preparations for many substances are stated.
