Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A DOZEN DAF XF105s made an appearance at the beginning of the London 2012 closing ceremony on Sunday night, thanks to operator Transam Trucking.

Events haulier Transam provided 12 trucks for the first half of the Olympics closing ceremony, which saw an average of 23.3 million viewers tune in throughout the show. “This show is certainly the biggest we have ever done,” Transam MD Mark Guterres told CM.

Road Haulage Association chief executive Geoff Dunning praised Transam’s involvement: “Trucks played such a massive, if silent, part in the success of 2012. It was with immense pride that we saw their contribution recognised at the beginning of the closing ceremony.” Transam – which merged with longterm competitors Edwin Shirley last year – now operates 130 trucks (30 in the Edwin Shirley pink and yellow livery and 100 Transam’s red and black hues) out of Stradbroke, Suffolk.

It has previously worked on tours for acts including Madonna, Bon Jovi, Kylie Minogue and Sir Paul McCartney.

Transam was founded in 1978 by Guterres and Sandie Flatt and specialised in tours for indie acts. EST started out in 1974 delivering wine before driving on rock tours.
