FAST F000 Ryder has been awarded a three-year contract to take over the UK distribution for the Perfect Pizza/Papa John's restaurant chain. Vehicles will work out of Ryder's Enfield base and Perfect Pizza's South Staffordshire warehouse.
LAND NOVEL Transport and logistics firm Exel has won a two-year contract with Land Rover valued at £2.5m per annum. Managed by Exel's Automotive Management Services, the contract will be handled from Lawford Heath, near Rugby.
—ANS FIFA Exel will also provide home delivery for furniture retailer IKEA. The contract is worth £60m over five years. It will be operational from August and will involve IKEA's 10 UK stores.

Transport giant TOG has opened a E3m distribution centre on the Wirral to handle a five-year contract worth £5m with savoury flavourings manufacturer Quest. The site has been purpose-built for the food industry.
NEWS CIMACT Securicor Omega Logistics has signed a five-year contract to provide European warehousing and distribution services for Aylesford Newsprint.
FRAGILE LOADS Nightspeed Services has won a £100,000 contract to deliver crockery to contract caterers and distributors. The deal with AFE Online, part of the Aga Foodservice Group, is for a next day delivery service.
