ATA Carnets Available THE International Chamber of Commerce announced on Wednesday that ATA Carnets for temporary admission of certain loads to and from the U.K. can be obtained. At the moment, these documents apply only to goods for display at exhibitions, fairs, meetings and on similar occasions, and to professional equipment for Press. radio or television.

The ATA Carnet is a facility in addition to the ECS Carnet. At present it can only be obtained from the London Chamber of Commerce, 69 Cannon Street, London. E.C.4. but other Chambers will soon be able to issue the document. By the end of August it will be in operation in Austria, Germany. Ivory Coast, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Severn Bridge contract TH E Minister of Transport has A accepted a tender amounting to £2,374,140 for the construction of the approach road to the Severn Bridge on the Gloucestershire side.

As with other major bridge and tunnel projects, tolls will be charged on the Severn Bridge.
