Two heavy-duty Milbar pliers are available from A. Levermore and Co Ltd. The model 7R is designed to remove internal circlips up to 7.6cm (3in) diameter and the model 8R will remove external clips up to 8.4cm (3.3in).
Both models have replaceable tips made from heat-treated alloy steel and these are available either straight, at 45 deg or at 90 deg. The tips are said to be easily replaceable and the pliers have a ratchet mechanism which locks the handles in position when they
