Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SCANIA is testing the market response to an LT145 dumper/ tractive unit chassis. A lefthand drive demonstration dumper is already being evaluated in service and one will be shown at the RHA tipping conference.

The tandem-drive 6x4 vehicle Is designed for operation at 30 tonnes (29.5 tons) gvw; the front axle is rated to 7.0 tonnes (6.9 tons), the rear bogie to 23 tonnes (22.6 tons).

Powered by a Scania DS14 diesel rated at 257kW (350bhp) and developing 1226Nm (9041b ft) torque at 1,400rpm, the LT145 is specified with a 378 mm (14.91n) clutch and 10speed synchromesh gearbox.

The two-spring bogie is fitted with hub-reduction axles and the vehicle can operate to within C and U /legs at 24.4 tonnes (24 tons) gvw.

The model on show at the RHA Tipcon at Harrogate will have an Edbro 9.2cum (12cuyd) scow-end rock body and Edbro tipping gear.
