won a contract to build bodies for Datsun commercial vehicles manufactured by Nissan Motor Co. in Japan. The company's factory is said to be equipped to fit out at least 60 vehicles per month.
It is also reported that Gaffer (Rhodesia) Ltd. is investing £150,000 in a new factory to produce brake linings
for the Central African market. The factory is expected to be operating by the middle of this year.
