a £2m. programme to improve its service to customers throughout the world. The money, which brings the total Ford parts investment to nearly £16m., has been spent on a complete re-organization of the company's parts facilities. These facilities include two neighbouring depots stocking a total of 60,000 service parts. One is at Aveley, into which has been concentrated all fast-moving parts, while the slowmoving items are handled in a new depot at Thurrock.
