THE whole of the share capital of BTS Motorways Ltd. has been purchased by Mr. D. M. Foy, chairman and managing director of Eatonways Luxury Travel Ltd., of Small Heath. Birmingham, for a consideration of E105,000 cash.
BTS Motorways operated a fleet of 12 AEC luxury coaches on express services, excursions and tours and private hire business. Mr. W. Bennett. who had built up the firm over 45 years, has now, retired.
More Fleetlines for Trent The Trent Motor Traction Co. Ltd., which already operates 20 Daimler Eleetline double-deckers, has ordered another II Electlines. The new buses will he fitted with 77-scat bodies by Walter Alexander and Co. (Coachbuilders) Ltd.
