Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A CONVERSION of the Land-Rover by the English 1-1 Electric Co. Ltd. was demonstrated in London last week and is now to be marketed by. that company. Comprising a compact, powerful generating system which can be installed in any standard LandRover chassis, where it has no effect on the carrying capacity or ground clearance of the vehicle, it is capable of driving simultaneously three 500W floodlights and numerous power tools. For instance, one of the most useful pieces of equipment that can be powered is a portable electric welding set which will work with electrodes of up to 10 sw.g.

Costing £550, the generating equipment can be obtained as a complete kit and it is claimed that it can be fitted in one working day. A variety of suitable power tools is readily available and these include drills, grinders, circular saws, chain saws, nut runners, sanders, polishers and rock drills.

At the demonstration as many as five appliances were successfully operated at the same time with the Land-Rover engine running steadily at approximately the speed required to produce 30 m.p.h. in top gear. The unit will, it is said, outlast the chassis of the Land-Rover Without requiring any maintenance.
