Exhaust and emission system manufacturer Eminox is warning truck and van operators who want to run older vehicles in London next year to act quickly to avoid a last-minute rush.
Mike Galey, marketing director at Eminox, says an estimated 145,000 vehicles will fail to comply with the next phase of the London LEZ restrictions in January 2012, and of these some 20,000 are anticipated to take the retrofit compliance option.
“Operators who continue to leave it too long could face a bottleneck in supply during a last-minute rush, potentially missing the deadline.”
