• The industrial services group Miles Druce and Co Ltd, as part of its plan to operate a national express parcels carrier service, has bought Harrisons of Dewsbury Ltd for £200,000 cash. Harrisons operate about 80 vehicles from their depots at Dewsbury, Stockport, Glasgow and London, and will continue to trade under their own name.
