Helen, an MBA graduate from Aston University, former account manager with TNT and transport manager with Hays Logistics, says: "There can't be too many firms in this sector where father and daughter lead the business.
"I am very much from an operational background, and I believe I am well-placed to understand the day-to-day issues of operating trucks, acknowledging that while Sherwood is entering into a new era, it will remain a family firm, loyal to its employees and customers."
