Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

UNITED STATES Air Force has ordered Sherpa pick-ups worth rl .5m for its bases throughout the United Kingdom.

The contract for 231 drop-side pick-ups, all fitted with diesel engines and automatic transmissions, will be completed by the end of the year by Freight Rover's new manufacturing facilities at Birmingham.

Since introducing its UK vehicle-buy programme in 1979, the air force has spent more than $30m on British vehicles. The policy encourages commonality of vehicles and spares within the UK-NATO community, and makes major savings against shipping vehicles and parts from the US.

"Orders from military authorities only follow exhaustive analysis," a Freight Rover spokesman said, "and this is testimony to the versatility and flexibility of our range."

Sales of Sherpa LCVs have al

most doubled in the last year. In October, Freight Rover launches a brand new range .of widebodied vehicles —the latest result of a £30m investment programme.
