Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BY USING a single Reliant three-wheeler chassis cab in conjunction with four interchangeable demountable bodies, Yeovil District Council has been able to make several economies.

Besides avoiding the cost of a new tractor to tow drawbar trailers, the demountable bodies have allowed the council to drop a scheme to build a covered enclosure for litter Rollers are fitted to each body and a central recessed eye enables the winch cable to be easily attached. When it is loaded, the body is held for transit by engaging two frontal lugs with pegs on the subframe and by spring loaded bolts on the frame which locate in holes on the body runners.

A remote control unit with wander lead is used for winch TWO VERSIONS of the Rolba ER0-1 bulk gritter body are now available in the UK for permanent mounting on either 6x4 or 6x6 chassis. Both versions have a hopper capacity of 8-10cu m (10.5 to 13cu yd) and are developments of Rolba's HH8/P model, the ERO-1K being a near spread model while the ERO-1F is for front spreading.

The Archimedean feed screw mechanism common to both, is powered by a special high capacity variable output pump which bins which would previously have been needed.

Now enclosed refuse collection bodies can be left all day at the entertainment and recreation centres, providing receptacles for refuse in place of litter bins.

The demountable system for the bodies, the Munibug, is made by Ray Smith Demountables of Peterborough and includes a tipping subframe which is electro hydraulic in operation. Bodies are raised and lowered to ground level by means of a Ramsey electric winch. operation, but the tipping controls are mounted on the chassis next to the hydraulic power pack.

The chassis has a gvw limit of 1,650kg (1 ton 12cwt) which enables payloads of between 510 to 760kg (10 to 15cwt) depending on the type of body used.

Total cost of the Reliant, two refuse bodies, an open body and a Dorman 88 sprayer body was £3,550. This price included the subframe and tipping gear, painting and the fitment of a roof beacon.
